With just under 3 weeks to go until Nottingham Yarn Expo 2019 we are busy adding the fine detail to our plans to provide you with the very best Expo experience.
We have just under 70 fantastic exhibitors, many of these are independent, female led businesses with diverse backgrounds. We have lots of gorgeous yarn and fibre along with inspiration for your next project, add some Hygge to your November! Make sure that you check out our exhibitor list and start making your shopping list.
Our award-winning venue is a fabulous place to spend the day with friends, shopping for the latest in yarns, fibre and design. It is warm, clean and easy to manoeuvre and has won awards for ‘Best Exhibition Space’ – need we say more? It is most definitely a place where you will want to linger and sit and knit or crochet, chat with friends and share techniques. Make sure that you bring your current WIP too! We also have a cafeteria on site that offers drinks, hot and cold food, together with plenty of seating.
Enjoy live music by the fantastic all female String Quartet, Highly Strung! Check out their CV, they have played individually with top orchestras and pop superstars too! A real treat, dancing to your favourite tune is of course optional.
We are lucky that international knitwear designer Fiona Ellis is travelling from her home in Toronto, Canada to teach her first workshops in the UK for several years. You do not want to miss this unique opportunity to take part and learn new skills. Head over to our website to choose your workshop.
Tickets are available to pre-book! These are discounted compared to on the door prices and you will automatically be entered into our prize draw to have the chance of winning a number of prizes sponsored by Prym. These include full sets of knitting needles and crochet hooks, project bags, knitting mills and pompom makers – 18 prizes in total!
Nottingham Conference Centre is located in Nottingham City Centre with easy access from the train station by tram that stops outside just outside the venue (Nottingham Trent University Stop) and from the numerous and convenient park and ride locations around the city. What’s more if you pre-book your Nottingham Yarn Expo tickets can get discounted tram fare.
